My clients is one of the world's leading rail consultancy we undertake engineering consultancy and design on Network Rail, London Underground and light rail networks.
Their rail projects include major station developments, re-signalling schemes and multi-functional railway enhancement works and they are now currently recruiting for Design Engineers to work in the Overhead Line Electrification Team (OLE) based across multiple offices.
The successful applicant will assist in the development of OLE work for the Rail business from the initial clarification of remit to project completion. You will also be given the opportunity to enhance your own OLE design skills whilst also developing and influencing less experienced members of the OLE team.
Requirements:
*Overhead line design knowledge and experience (Construction experience would also be advantageous)
*Detailed knowledge and understanding of industry standards relating to overhead line electrification
*Ideally, you will possess an engineering degree or equivalent industry-recognised qualification
Responsibilities:
As an OLE design engineer, your main responsibility will involve the creation of overhead Line Electrification design layouts and installation design cross sections in addition to carrying out various other technical support activities for main line Rail engineering.
