Established as one of the most comprehensive online shopping networks on the web our client is a fast growing, exciting internet business that is at the forefront of online shopping and comparison internet technology. As an Ecommerce Specialist it will be your job to ensure that external merchant data feeds integrate successfully.
Utilising current technologies like HTML, CSS, FTP, XML and JavaScript you will work closely with German sales teams and merchants helping to integrate product and review based data. In more detail you will:
- Review data provided by merchants for accuracy and conformity to specifications. Converse in German with the relevant parties involved in the integration process.
- Recommend improvements on merchant's product listings for a better consumer experience and better merchant conversion.
- Help merchants with the integration of code on their own website to collect and display user reviews.
- Work with the inventory teams to optimise presence of the merchant’s data on the website.
- Create and maintain a metrics template to summarise merchant’s data “vital signs” for Sales team
- Propose evolutions of systems to better suit European operations.
The ideal candidate will be a fluent German speaker with exposure to web technologies (HTML, CSS, FTP, XML, JavaScript) and possessing previous experience working in the online, ecommerce or etail sectors. It is also important that you possess excellent communication skills, an analytical aptitude and a high attention to detail.
