I now have an exclusive and exciting opportunity for an experienced AV professional to join a market leader in Live Events and managed Audio Visual Services & Venues sector. Due to growth and awarding of contracts my client now has an immediate opening for an experienced Audio Visual Manager to join their team heading up their on site Events portfolio and AV services in a prestigious London venue.
To be considered for this role you MUST come from a hands on AV background and you should ideally have experience working on site in a venue or hotel environment as you will be heading up a busy and productive venue. You will however not be alone as you will have a resident technician there to help you to you deliver Service Level Agreement to the venue and its clientele, as a result you need to be capable of effectively managing both resources and labour and have a clear understanding of driving sales and revenue generation. Technical experience should include audio, projection, set build, IT & basic lighting would be advantageous. Key to this role is the ability to interact confidently with both the venue and their clients and work in partnership with to deliver magnificent events whilst driving revenue generation and developing the venues technical capabilities and services. It's all about keeping the venue happy.
