A great opportunity to join a growing retail business that has just launched an exciting new website and is in the process of putting together a brand new eCommerce team. It's the perfect opportunity for an experienced Online Marketing Manager or someone taking the step up from Marketing Assistant or Marketing Executive to have a massive influence on things moving forwards.
Online Content Manager
The Company:
The company is a leading UK retailer with around 100 big-box stores nationwide. They have ambitious growth plans to continually add to this number and having seen their success during the credit crunch, there really is nothing stopping them.
They floated half the business in 2006 which injected a bucket load of cash into the company and as a result their recently published figures show them to be very cash-rich. Investing this money into the growth of the business, they are now on the cusp of REALLY competing with the "big boys"!
The Role:
Taking full responsibility for Online and Email content your role will include the following:
- The general management and continued evolution of the web content / style.
- Management of email marketing campaigns and website content
- Copywriting
- Direct Man-Management of a Web Designer
- Time management
- Cross departmental networking
- Competitor benchmarking

About You:
- Previous management of email marketing campaigns & management of relevant agencies
- Experience of managing direct reports
- Strong copywriting skills
- Attention to detail and analytical mind
- Proven ability to work to ROI and lead generation targets
- Strong time management skills
- Creative yet commercial thinker
- Experience of agency/client contract negotiations
- Experience of using social networking to deliver brand recognition (Facebook, Twitter, etc)
- High level of computer literacy and ability to learn new systems
- Knowledge of best practise within online content styles
- Ideally have a working knowledge of PPC, SEO, HTML and CSS
