Excellent opportunity is now offered by a world wide leading travel business based in London. Due to expansion a newly created position has arisen for a talented Online Marketing Manager. The primary focus of this varied role will be to plan and implement both online and offline marketing campaigns in order to maintain and further develop sales of the company's products.
Specific duties will include:
- To proactively increase the flow of traffic into the company website and enhance conversion rates
- To initiate, control and manage PPC campaigns, setting and reviewing targets with PPC advertisers to ensure optimum performance for the company
- To prepare, implement and manage SEO plans to increase visitor traffic
- To establish short term and long term online marketing strategy
- To plan and implement a strategy for email marketing and develop campaigns to increase the conversion rate, frequency and value of customer spend
- To create and apply online customer acquisition plans
- To maintain the computerised customer database and set the policy for direct digital client contact
- To fully understand and utilise CRM efficiently in all aspects of the business
- To analyse performance statistics from various sources and provide information for Directors
- To control affiliate marketing, working to increase traffic and conversions.
- To review competitor presence and campaigns online and gather intelligence on likely success and performance
- To create and develop promotional material, direct mailers, emailers etc.
- To carry out customer research projects
The ideal candidate will be a creative individual with a strong online marketing background, which will include proven experience of managing campaigns to drive traffic and sales, as well as developing marketing strategies for newly launched sites. Previous experience in Travel & Tourism industry is highly desirable and will be a distinct advantage
