This is a great role for an online merchandiser working on a popular travel and holiday website in the merchandising team which works hand and hand with the marketing team. For this role as an online merchandiser, you will be educated to degree level or the equivalent. As the online merchandiser, it is essential that you have worked in an online environment, ideally in a merchandiser or marketing role. As the online merchandiser, you will work in a team of two in ensuring and that there is an increase in site traffic and revenue.
As the online merchandiser, you will also analyse and track site activity and report back and make changes accordingly to the development of the site.
In this varied online merchandiser role, you will also assist in creating and sending out emails and copywriting marketing material for the site. You will also be involved in creating online promotional campaigns and dealing with creative elements such as online banners and buttons.
This is a fantastic role for someone who has work experience in a marketing environment, as you will be expected to get started with little direction! If you are an online merchandiser, with a background in travel or holiday`s this will be seen as a bonus!
