Job Description: A new opportunity has arisen for an operational marketing executive for a life science company in Dorset. The role will include: Ownership of the pricing process. Including annual competitive benchmarking and margin analysis to correctly positioning each product. Administration of new pricing structures with eProcurement platforms, distributors and internally with customer services and sales. Launch new products. In conjunction with the Product Manager plan all aspects of new products introduction including, but not limited to, pricing, inventory planning, literature stocks, samples, promotional materials and strategies, sales tools, communication to the market and sales team. Analysis of Sales within each product group versus forecast to identify shortfalls or exceptional growth. Develop promotional activities to correct shortfalls. Creation of local promotional materials, organisation of delivery to the market and lead fulfilment. Organisation of external exhibitions where appropriate. Organisation (from creation to lead fulfilment) of rapid, frequent mailing programme. This will include both paper and electronic mailings with a number of different communications required each month.

Essential Skills: Ideally a life science degree. 2 years experience within a practical operational marketing role. Previously dealt with printers.
Knowledge of experience with eMarketing as well as more traditional vehicles. Laboratory experience ideally with Cell Culture Or Knowledge of cell biology
Other key skills: Able to produce mailshots including writing copy and creating rough layouts. Able to actively data mine both using phone and internet. eMarketing. Fluent in Excel. ACT! 10 preferable
