The world's largest commercial security printer are looking for an accomplished Operations Director to cover activity at their Security Print sites in Dunstable and Dulles, Virginia. Established for nearly 200 years, the company are a leading provider of cash sorting equipment and software solutions to central banks world wide.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global company in a role of real significance. The Operations Director will be responsible for the manufacture of all Security Print products across 2 of their key locations, ensuring significant and measurable performance improvements are achieved at both facilities. You will need to have a clear vision of the desired future state and must be able to develop a structured roadmap to define the manufacturing strategy . Ensuring that the division complies with all legal, regulatory, environmental and Health & Safety requirements, you will participate in budget preparation and strategic planning, reporting monthly to the Managing Director on operational performance.

The ideal candidate for the role will be an experienced Operations Director with previous experience in both manufacturing and project management environments. You will be a strategic thinker with a global business outlook, with the credibility to manage and lead the top-team and to work well across the company and with external organisations as appropriate. You will be a confident leader of people, a proven builder of teams and an assured communicator.
