45960182 Operations Director North East £50000 to £70000 per annum Permanent jobs Updated 16/11/2009 18:08 Job Role The Operations Director will report to Board Level and will be responsible for the performance of both projects and maintenance schemes on several sites across the North East.The projects will be delivered using a combination of both direct labour and subcontract staff. The Operations Director will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget and will also help to maintain the necessary KPI`s on all maintenance contracts whilst the organisation also strives to continually improve it`s own standards. The Operations Director will be the main point of contact for the client and will also act as a `technical advisor` on all technical queries that the client brings to them.
The Operations Director will ideally have the following attributes:
- Technically Qualified in a relevant discipline (Mechanical, Electrical or Process).
- P&L experience.
- Proven success running Service and Maintenance or Project work.
- Chemical / Pharma or Healthcare experience would be advantageous.
Our client is a leading M & E Contractor which operate in an array of sectors working in conjunction with both public and private sector clients across the whole of the U.K. They will support both service and maintenance and project work in a variety of environments.
The client will pay an attractive salary of up to £60`000 plus benefits including company car, share save scheme, pension and bonus.
