Our Client are a Charity working for children and young people in England and Wales. They are currently recruiting an Operation's Manager to oversee their Advocacy Services though out the Midlands based from Birmingham. The Operation's Manager will report directly to the Director of Children's Services and Chief Executive.
Our Client has advocates and solicitors who are trained and experienced in working with children and young people and will only take their instructions from the child or young person with a problem. The service is confidential and nothing will be done or said without the young person`s consent. (Unless of course, that young person is in serious danger, and even then no action is taken without them knowing). Our Client has also been awarded a Community Legal Service contract for specialist help and a Community Legal Service quality mark. They have a team of in-house lawyers who can represent children and young people if the problem can not be resolved in any other way.
Applicants will:
Be Educated to Degree standard or equivalent
Have a Social Work qualification
Have an good understanding of Advocacy.
Salary: GBP 33k - GBP 35k + Mileage cost
