Our client is the largest independent drainage specialist in the UK, with a network of depots right across the UK, each working to the same high standards, and each providing the same specialist service and expertise on a local basis.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for the planning and organisation of the engineer response team activities at their North West division based in Eccles. You will ensure that the teams have the correct equipment and materials on board and that they know what they should be doing where and when, as well as ensuring that work is completed within the required timescale.An ability to schedule work to ensure maximum productivity and optimum asset usage is essential, as well as experience on Excavation works.This role includes site supervision for which a company van is provided but will be mainly office-based. IT literate, with good customer service skills, you will have the ability to supervise teams and have good planning and basic estimating skills. Service industry, drainage or reactive maintenance experience is essential. Experience within the Drainage / Construction / Civil Engineering / Waste or Utilities industries is preferable, along with Health and Safety knowledge. A Full Driving licence is required.
