Based in Cambridge the Optical Physicist will be focused on the design of new optical and optoelectronic systems for a range of products including Scientific instruments and sensors, Mechatronics, Healthcare products and industrial systems. The successful applicant will have a good first degree or PhD in Physics or a related engineering discipline, with a proven background in delivering optical or optoelectronics systems with an emphasis on sensing
Based in Cambridge the Optical Physicist will be focused on the design of new optical and optoelectronic systems for a range of products including Scientific instruments and sensors, Mechatronics, Healthcare products and industrial systems. Responsibilities will include taking the lead optical design role on multidisciplinary projects, including hands on product development, design of optical systems and sensing systems.
The successful applicant will have a good first degree or PhD in Physics or a related engineering discipline, with a proven background in delivering optical or optoelectronics systems with an emphasis on sensing and analytical measurements. Other skills to include: Optical Design tools (Zemax, OptiCAD, Oslo etc), knowledge of sensing, C Programming or Matlab.
