Based in the South East the Optical Systems Engineer will be involved in all phases of the evolution of optical instrumentation development. Key skills to include: Optics Design, Electro-Optics, Zemax and Imaging.
Based in the South East the Optical Systems Engineer will be involved in all phases of the evolution of optical instrumentation development. The successful candidate will derive, analyse and optimise complex optical systems at the conceptual and detailed design level, with a focus on radiometry, image quality, scanning and detection requirements.
The successful candidate will have a good degree in Engineering of Physics, with a proven track record in the design of optical systems with a bias towards imaging systems. Other skills of interest include electro-optical technologies, knowledge of CAD tools and Optical Simulation (Zemax or similar).
