Required on behalf of our client to take a lead managing role in the accounts for household name FMCG/healthcare accounts.
Solid experience in consumer and/or healthcare PR at the relevant level is a necessity therefore you will be a well-networked PR professional with an impressive contacts book and a string of achievements.
In this role, you’ll deal with consumer journalists on a daily basis, building strong and lasting professional relationships with them. To manage own areas of responsibility, often working independently, reporting to a senior account director.
A strong writer, perhaps with journalistic experience.
Responsibilities are likely to include the following:
- Day-to-day strategic account management
- Client liaison
- Building relationships with key media
- Press release and article writing
- Proposal preparation
- Report and speech writing
- Providing briefing material for clients
- Event organisation and management
- Budget management
This is not a job for a someone looking for their first job in PR or who wants to make the move from sales/marketing.
