PRINCIPAL OF ACOUSTICS AND AIR QUALITY - (ENVIRONMENTAL)
Location: London
Salary: £50-65k + Car + Bonus + Pension
THE BUSINESS
* Our client, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy seeks to recruit an Principal of Acoustics and Air Quality within their busy Acoustics and Air Quality division joining the growing environmental team at their London and South East office
* You will be required to oversee and take responsibility for the resourcing, overseeing of project delivery in terms of Design and Technical, implementation of Business Management Systems, working closely with the Managing Director of Environmental and Energy.
THE ROLE
* Applicants will be required to meet the agreed turnover and profit targets as set by the Infrastructure board.
* Ideally Chartered and qualified to degree level or equivalent in acoustics or acoustics related discipline (e.g. physics. maths, environmental sciences, environmental health or Engineering).
* You must have a high level of post graduate experience in acoustics primarily in Building Acoustics, a proven track record in environmental project management, Public Enquiry and Expert Witness Experience and previous use of IMMI noise mapping software is an advantage.
* Working on a wide range of diverse and challenging Acoustic projects to include - environmental noise and vibration, construction and Transportation and gas/energy.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Degree OR equivalent in an Environmental subject
* MSc Environmental OR Acoustics
* Chartered member of the Institute of Acoustics OR (AMIOA)
* At least 5 years + in a senior Acoustic role working on Environmental, Acoustic Surveys and Transportation projects.
* Strong management and Leadership qualities essential.
