PROCUREMENT MANAGER / PURCHASING MANAGER / BUYING MANAGER
LOCATION: EAST YORKSHIRE
SALARY AND BENEFITS: £35K - £50K per annum
COMPANY INFORMATION:

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Working knowledge of procurement practices and procedures
- Experience within the engineering or manufacturing industry
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work in close conjunction with the senior management team
- Procurement, buying, purchasing experience is essential
IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Knowledge of plastics would be advantageous
- Ability to work closely with purchasing / buying teams
- Good standard of education including a recognised purchasing qualification
- Degree qualification in MCIPS is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
ROLE INFORMATION:
- To provide an efficient procurement service to sites and regional offices
- Working with and advising line managers procurement issues
- Order placing / expediting / purchasing
- Enquiry / quotation analysis
- Monitor contracted prices and resolve anomalies
- Assist in quality audits
- Establish and develop good working relationships
- Provide professional purchasing advise
- Assist in sub-contract orders / placements
- Procurement, buying, purchasing
