PRODUCT MANAGER Cellular Pathology
Primary Job Purpose:
To introduce, market and provide technical support for company products, whilst being responsible for achieving profitable sales and meeting targets from sales distribution network.
·Responsible for bringing suitable cellular pathology products to the target market and for achieving sales targets profitably.
The jobholder will provide the UK sales force as well as the overseas distributor network with technical support & training.
Monitoring of sales against targets on a monthly basis and adjusting sales/marketing strategies throughout the year to ensure targets are met.
Sourcing new products for the range & evaluating their quality & profitability
- Responsible for the Specification & Analysis of new products
- Provide technical training for all new and existing products for sales staff, distributors etc where necessary
- Launching new products (assessing what support literature etc. is needed)
- ·Responsible for motivating export and company Europe sales teams to ensure targets are met.

Essential:
- Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline with a strong background in cellular pathology
- Basic laboratory skills
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent trouble shooting skills
- High levels of initiative and self motivation
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to absorb and manage large quantities of information in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
