Technical Support Manager
FOOD MANUFACTURING / PROCESSING
C£30,000,+ PENSION
Due to improvement projects and market growth, a leading multi site food processor/manufacturer is recruiting several management roles for its flagship facility in the North West.
One of the roles is a Technical Support Manager. This role will support and provide cover for the Site Quality and Technical Manager (above) and will work with other technical department managers in facilitating customer visits/audits, delivering change, holding factory trials, collect data and collate reports, analyse trends, non compliance, carry out route cause analysis and make improvements. Other responsibilities will include:
o Audit systems to ensure compliance and agree corrective actions for error cause removal.
o Producing accurate, information for customer and site reports
o Respond both internal and external customer queries
o Lead continuous improvement projects to completion
o Help develop efficient induction & training processes
The successful candidate will have proven experience within food sectors such as meat, dairy, cheese, milk or any other high risk environment and must have experience in a well managed quality & technical function.
