The Client is a leading name and manufacturer of heating, ventilation, showering, hot water products and low carbon solutions. They have a wealth of very strong brands, are of significant size and scale and are highly successful in the UK marketplace. They sell to private and public sector organisations specifying building solutions from its broad range of brands and offer its clients significant economies and an integrated approach to satisfying their technical requirements.
The role of Production Supervisor is based at the Peterborough site which employs 250 and manufactures a full range of the company’s products. The production supervisor reports directly to the production manager and is responsible through three line leaders in delivering production objectives, achieving performance criteria and introducing lean manufacturing principles and practices. Additionally you will be responsible for all aspects of health and safety.
Candidates will need to have a background in production operations, either apprentice trained or graduate qualified, you will need excellent team leadership skills gained in a multi-product batch production environment, you will have been exposed to world class manufacturing techniques and have a desire and appetite to work in a progressive company with ambitions to grow.
