shifts are - 6am - finish / 6pm till finish
As an integral part of the production team this role covers all aspects of production, manufacturing and people management.
With previous food manufacturing experience, and a working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, BRC, KPI's, HSE and Retail auditing you will ideally have a track record of continuous improvement and achievement with an existing food manufacturer.
The main purpose of this role is:
To ensure that all Production targets are achieved in a safe and efficient manner.
To ensure the communication between production and other departments is carried out effectively and consistently.
To audit departments within their control.
To ensure all relevant Health & Safety policies are understood and being complied with.
To effectively manage the staff within their control.
To train and develop staff to their fullest potential
To cover all activities of the business within their area of control. Liaising with all levels of the business and external authorities as required.
