PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK, ACCOUNTS PAYABLE, PART TIME & PERMANENT
LOCATION: East Riding of Yorkshire
SALARY AND BENEFITS: Circa £14,000
COMPANY INFORMATION:

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Working knowledge of purchase ledger procedures
- The ability to work as part of a ledger team and make informed decisions
- Experience of statement reconciliation and the preparation of invoices on to a computerise purchase ledger/accounts payable system
- Full driving licence
IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Recent experience as a purchase ledger/accounts payable clerk
- A high level of accuracy
- Additional finance skills: sales ledger, credit control, payroll etc.
- The ability to be a strong team player
- High level of communication skills
ROLE INFORMATION:
- Part time (30 hrs/5 days), temporary to permanent vacancy
- To be responsible for all purchase ledger duties
- To prepare and input documents on to the ledger system, maintain supplier statements and month end accruals
- To process ledger documentation prior to input
- To ensure all company deadlines are met with regard to period end reports
