Our client, a charity supporting children with complex health needs providing respite and community support in the county of Dorset, are seeking qualified Paediatric Nurses/RSCN/RN Child Branch with 12 - 18 months post qualifying experience at band 5, or equivalent.
You will be a registered sick children's nurse (RSCN), registered nurse (child branch) or equivalent with 12 months' plus post qualifying experience. If you have counselling training and/or experience and teaching/assessing course (ENB 998), this would be highly benficial.
The role will involve working in the community alongside families in their own homes supporting them with palliative care , life limiting/life threatening conditions frequently combined with complex medical needs. It is likely that you would have experience leading a skill-mix team (with support from a lead nurse) and will be able to show evidence of continuing professional development.
The role is peripatetic so a car owner/driver with a full licence is required (expenses available). Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced CRB check.
