We are the leading charity providing parenting support to parents. We are available for parents 24 hours a day, seven days a week through a range of innovative and integrated services.
The successful applicant will be part of a skilled team delivering a range of high quality, flexible services to individuals and groups of parents, carers and others in a parenting role. The role, which is for 20 hours a week, will involve providing outreach and project work as well as networking with key local organisations and communities. Evening work is required as part of the role as well as extensive travel across Hampshire.
Applicants must have demonstrable experience of supporting individuals within the context of a helping environment, either face to face or on the telephone. Also, applicants need to have taken responsibility for specific projects, have carried out family or parenting support work and have personal experience of parenting or bringing up children. You will also have worked with a wide range of people, including those experiencing deprivation. Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills are required.
