Our client has a vision, and that vision is to provide a purpose built Community Hall and choir rehearsal room to support and nurture the everyday lives of those living in the Chingford area.Through their own efforts, the Trustees have already secured half the required money, but now seek an experienced Fundraiser to manage the final phases and turn this dream into reality.
With a proven background over several fundraising streams, you will work with the Project Director to agreed timelines in order to ensure maximum income is generated to meet the set target.
Main Purpose
Planning, developing and implementing a fundraising strategy to meet the income target
The identification of Trust Funds and Corporate sources and the submission of applications
To identify, nurture, secure and manage income opportunities.
The development of partnerships, both corporate and in the community
Budget setting, management and regular reporting to Project Director
Develop & manage all marketing activities
Support the Voluntary Fundraising Co-ordinator
Essential Skills
- Proven background in securing significant amounts of money
- Understanding of fundraising and charity legislation
- Demonstrable experience of corporate & community fundraising
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Project, financial and budget management experience
- Confident presentation and networking ability
- Experience of working and managing volunteers
- Sound marketing and PR skills
Based on an initial 2 year contract, this is an excellent opportunity to raise a significant amount of money that will have a huge impact on the lives of those living in this close-knit community
