A Swindon based company who has experienced tremendous grown and looking to expand nationally next year has a requirement for a Part Time Transport Administrator.Working within a competent and professional administration team you will be supporting the Home Delivery and warehouse operational teams.
Duties to include:
·Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships with internal and external customers
·Creation of delivery routes for drivers, whilst demonstrating a good understanding of the geography of the UK
·Completion of all distribution and general administration including filing and data-entry where required
·Ensuring all delivery notes are received and all pre-printing completed in advance of picking and delivery schedules
·The ability to demonstrate problem solving skills and to share information and knowledge to enable the smooth running of the transport and delivery operation
You will have a background within a similar role with the ability to demonstrate excellent problem solving skills.It is essential that you have a good understanding of planning driver route to ensure deliveries are maximised within a given area.Due to the nature of this role you will be able to work to stringent deadlines and at times a pressurised environment.This role is paying a salary of £15,000 pro-rata’ed to 20 hours per week, plus benefits package and free parking onsite.
