Salary: £41,519.27 - £45,359.47Hours: 35 hours per week Location: Council Headquarters You will be responsible for the Council's Passenger Transport Unit including the delivery of transport for Education, Social Work and Borders College,subsidised bus network, provision of transport information, taxi inspection service and the operation of the Council's in house bus fleet. You must be educated to post graduate degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience, chartered member of an appropriate Professional Institution is essential. Professional and extensive transport experience in a complex organisation with up to date knowledge of emerging external transport issues, legislation and national regulations is also required. Able to manage and lead the unit, you will be required to work closely with senior managers, council members and forge partnerships with a range of external organisations.
