The Company
Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to work for a large Blue Chip organisation on the outskirts of Edinburgh. A new Payroll focused team is in the process of being created and as a result, a number of opportunities exist to join a new and expanding department. You will be based at our client's headquarters which are situated near the Gyle. There is a chance that some positions may be on a contract basis initially but there is good potential for these to develop into permanent roles.
The Role As Payroll Administrator, you will be involved with several aspects of the weekly and monthly payroll including dealing with overtime and bonus payments, tax code changes, and various other general duties including updating staff records. In addition, you will be involved with dealing with and resolving outstanding payroll queries and communicating externally with various sub units, either verbally or by email.We are looking for someone with at least 1 years' pure payroll experience, preferably within a large company environment. You should have strong working knowledge of Payroll and the issues surrounding overtime, sickness, maternity etc. Our client has a large payroll and so it is essential that the successful applicants can hit the ground running and make the new department a success.

Salary & Benefits
