Located in Melbourne's northern suburbs this leading manufacturing business seeks an experienced payroll officer with "end to end" payroll exposure and knowledge of different awards and EBA's.
Reporting to the Payroll Team leader you will be joining a team of four and together will be responsible for processing approx 900 pays; these will consist of a mixture of weekly and monthly payrolls. Primarily your duties will consist of data entry, maintaining up to date leave entitlements records plus relevant award information, reconciling all payroll components, compliance, assisting in the preparation of year end reports and any other associated payroll duties. Previous experience working with a time & keeping system is a must, along with intermediate excel skills.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate working under pressure and have previous experience working within a payroll environment, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Your ability to undertake payroll duties in a timely and efficient manner is also pivotal to this role.
