This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Payroll Team Leader to join a fast paced and dynamic company in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. As a Team Leader you will focus on motivating, leading, coaching and managing staff whilst overseeing the success of the payroll function in general. Duties specific to this position include:
Overseeing the overall running of the payroll process in generalo:p>
Management of day to day payroll and staffing issues
Providing management support and guidance to your team
Staff appraisals
Measuring productivity and performance
Dealing with escalated queries and issues
Identify, drive and promote continuous improvement and change
Candidates considered suitable for this position will have a background in a role of a similar senior nature from within a high volume environment. Solid experience in a team leader capacity with the ability to lead, motivate, coach and appraise staff is essential. An outstanding knowledge of the payroll process and a high focus on customer service will ensure your ongoing success in this position. Technical skills aside, your confident and assertive disposition, open communication style and the ability to bring out the best in your team will be valued by this employer.
