Pensions Clerk

£28-30K pro rata or £15/ph

Bristol

Ambridge Harris Associates are recruiting for a company in Bristol who are going through a period of unprecedented growth and therefore require 2 temps for 6 months in their pensions department. Within this Pensions Clerk role you will be responsible for the provision of pensions administration services to the allocated client base.

Your Main Professional Responsibilities will be to:
1. Provide accurate quotations and processing of refunds, deferred, transfers, retirements, deaths, etc., ensuring that, where appropriate, suitable discharges and proof of eligibility exist.
2. Maintaining the database in accordance with agreed best practice and in accordance with Pensions Office training.
3. Ensuring that at all times HMRC limits are adhered to and that the Rules of the Schemes are observed.
4. Assisting with the preparation of annual Benefit Statements and membership schedules.
5. Answer general enquiries professionally on both the Scheme helplines and via correspondence, referring queries to Team Leader, as appropriate.
6. Attend client meetings and assist with the development of excellent client relationships with assigned clients.
7. Ensuring at all times that scanning is up to date.
8. Regularly reviewing outstanding work and, where appropriate, referring to Team Leader with any potential problems.
9. Provide support and training to junior administrators.
10. At all times, follow the procedures laid down in the Administration Guides and ISO Procedure Manuals.
11. Providing assistance on project work and other ad-hoc activities where necessary.
12. Achieve personal performance targets.

2. Ensure that all client and internal administration is kept up to date and in good order.
3. Play a full part in pursuing the best interests of the Company.
4. Maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times.

For this role you will need to have gained some relevant industry experience within Pensions.
