This is an unusual and very attractive role with a leading player in the fast expanding DB scheme buyout and bulk annuity market. The business is looking for an experienced Pensions Systems & Projects professional to assist the Data Manager in running all aspects of their data hub, ensuring the safe passage and fitness for purpose of vast amounts of data in transition with every major transaction and subsequent scheme management. This includes helping to process and manage huge amounts of information in partnership with third party administrators, investment managers and custodians and the role will form a key part of the head office function at the heart of the businesss day to day operation. The role will suit a Data specialist with an equal spread of knowledge and experience across both pensions and IT/systems and in particular they should have considerable exposure to large scale installations and transitions. A possible background could be a TPA, software house or life office. Above all though the job holder will need to be a specialist in the management, clean up and transition of data in a pensions environment, ideally from the buyout community.
