Key responsibilities include:
To understand and assist with UK pensions and the impact of current and forthcoming UK pensions legislation on the Bank and its UK pension arrangements
To ensure that the requirements of regulatory and other statutory bodies are fully understood and implemented.
To be fully conversant with the UK Scheme Rules, be able to interpret the Rules and provide guidance on the application of Rules
To understand the organisations global pensions policy and its impact on the Bank
To provide technical support/advice on UK pensions to the business units and raise the level of awareness/knowledge.
We are seeking an individual with:
Analytical skills to deal with a wide variety of financial and pension related requirements
Strong communication skills to make the complex seem easy to understand
Project management skills
Good judgement, decision making, relationship management and speed with accuracy
Significant UK pensions experience in a technical role. Gained within a blue chip envrionment
Wide experience of commercial UK pensions activities
Exposure to UK actuarial techniques and risk management procedures
Up to date knowledge of current UK pensions legislation and environment
Knowledge of UK pension administration practice/processes
Education to degree standard
APMI or OPMI with progression being made to APMI
