My client is looking for a Personal Injury Solicitor to head the PI department of this newly developed firm. The role will be to pro actively handle technical and complex Third Party injury cases in an efficient and effective manner. To resolve disputes and manage litigation proactively in order to achieve business objections and meet the defined customer service proposition.
Contribute to the delivery of the key performance targets by achieving own objectives effectively Handle and resolve complex technical cases or referrals and/ or complaints with own authority limit Comply with the Solicitors Account Rules and Rules of the Professional Conduct of Solicitors in accordance with company guidelines Gather and accurately analyse appropriate information in order to make the best business decision Take pro active steps to effectively deal with claimant's solicitors in order to achieve overall key performance objectives Provide legal advice and assistance in a professional manner Manage litigated files in accordance with client protocols Provide guidance and support to others in the team so that overall team effectiveness is enhanced Follow agreed processes, policies and procedures to ensure quality and service standards are met and leakage is minimised Good understanding of Personal Injury pre - action protocol and claims procedures, products and services Comply with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements as well as training requirements of the Law Society Skills/ Education: The ideal candidate with have the appropriate post qualification experience of handling RTA/EL/PL claims pre and post litigation including more complex liability disputes within a law practice. Knowledge/ experience of claims handling with an enabling case management system would be an advantage. A proven ability of making decisions on legal liability and assessment of damages.
