****** EXPERIENCED PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY FIELD SALES TRAINER REQUIRED ******

My client, a market leading pharmaceutical company currently has a much sought after vacancy for a Field Sales Trainer to join their team covering the whole of the UK but focussing on training representatives based in London, Manchester, Birmingham & Brighton (vacancy reference SR 1924).

This is an exciting newly created role which has come about as a result of market research and competitor activity, and will involve you working as a full time trainer on a nationwide basis alongside the company’s existing team of Regional Field Sales Trainers (who manage their own territory 4 days per week and spend only 1 day on training others), dealing with a team of full time Hospital Representatives who sell prescription only antiviral products within the HIV arena. You will be tasked with mentoring & developing them in order to enhance their performance, in call sales skills and overall attitude as well as coaching them on leveraging guidance, securing formulary inclusions and developing KOL advocates.

Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager, you will have a pivotal role in identifying areas for further improvement in addition to ensuring that the representatives you coach are making best use of all of the tools available to them, implementing campaigns to the greatest effect and maintaining a positive, enthusiastic outlook to everything they undertake.Spending 4 days per week on coaching, the remainder of your time will involve other development tasks such as working on market access projects.

Due to the nature of this role, all applicants must already have a proven track record of success as a medical sales representative themselves within the secondary care environments (selling prescription only products), plus the ABPI qualification. All candidates must also have prior experience of working in a Field Sales Trainer role, particularly with Hospital Specialists and must be happy to cover the extensive geography involved on this occasion.

Please note that this position will begin as a 12 month project with the potential to be extended in the future.

In return, you will be rewarded with a generous basic salary (dependent on experience), plus tax free daily allowance, company car, laptop & mobile telephone, pension, private healthcare & bonus. As with all field based roles of this type, a full UK driving license is required (with 6 points or fewer) and be eligible to work in the UK on a full time permanent basis (no working holiday visas please).

For more information or to apply either call us today quoting the SR reference of the position which interests you, or submit your CV on line. And if you know someone else who may be interested, pass on our details - you will receive £££ as a 'thank you' if we place them.

We assure you that all applications will be treated in the strictest of confidence, and that your CV will not be sent to either this organisation or any other company without your express consent.
