Wireless leader seeks a Physical Design Manager with the following skills: digital, IC, ASIC, design, physical, back-end, RTL, GDS2, GDSII, floorplanning, synthesis, tapeout, tape-out, EDA, DFT, device, fabrication, layout, manager, team lead.
Our client, an internationally recognised leader in the wireless world, is looking for a Physical Design Manager to head up the company's physical design effort.
This role will involve a mixture of managerial and hands-on responsibility and therefore will require a balanced mix of strong technical and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will manage and supervise the physical design team and interact with external customers and partners to establish and implement product strategies. In addition, you will play a key role in producing a RTL to GDS flow and taping out devices direct to the foundry.
The successful candidate will have solid understanding of the ASIC design flow with extensive experience of taping out devices at GDS level, ideally with some previous team management experience.
