My Client based both in Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire is going through a large period of expansion and are looking for a Physicist or Materials Scientist

Materials scientist, or qualified individual in related subject, to work in the area of reactor materials performance.
Job Description
The facilities based at Stonehouse (Gloucestershire) and Harwell (Oxfordshire) are looking for qualified individuals to join their Power Station Chemistry, Graphite and Steels team paying a salary of £28-50k (dependant on the experience and qualifications).
The Company provides support to the UK nuclear industry as a whole, and provides the successful candidates with the opportunity to be involved in supporting customers with current operating plant and also in new build.
The successful individual would be expected to have a degree or PhD in physics and/or a materials based subject, and would be working on topics covering all aspects of the nuclear fuel cycle, with an emphasis on the operation and decommissioning of nuclear power stations.
Experience in the areas of corrosion, materials irradiation, or computer modelling would be advantageous but not essential.
