The Planner will join its already successful team. Working both pre and post contract the successful applicant will have planning experience that covers new build housing, care homes and property repairs.
Reporting to the regions Senior Planner the successful candidate's duties will include the production of:
·Site Appraisals
·Method Statements
·Tender Programmes
·Contract and Target Programmes
·Logistic Proposals
·Site Progress Reports
·Preliminary Pricing
Key Accountabilities include:
·Production of competitive and realistic tender plans, programmes and contract programmes
·Thorough understanding of project, scope of works and restrictions imposed by contractural and site conditions
·Ensuring health & safety issues are considered when compiling programmes
Skills and Capabilities
This role requires a good knowledge and awareness of:
·Construction methods and technologies
·Planning techniques and processes
·Management systems
·Risk management techniques and value creation
·Health and safety issues
·Environmental legislation and issues
·CIOB or equivalent and CSCS qualifications would be an advantage
·Competent in the use of Asta Powerproject.
Based at their Birmingham office the role will cover the geographic areas of:
·West and East Midlands
·South Wales
·The West Country
