Portfolio Manager (ICT) - Horsham - £45k - £60K
Our client has been established for over 30 years and is a market leading within the ICT industry and are seeking a new Portfolio Manager with 5 years + experience in product management within an ICT services company.
The Role
The Portfolio Manager (PM) is charged with the lifecycle responsibility for a specific area within the Company's portfolio of products and services. Specifically the PM will have a comprehensive view of the macro market and will identify and propose which products and services the Company needs to bring into its portfolio.
The PM is responsible for obtaining, collating, distributing and storing the Company's intelligence on given market sectors for which their portfolio responsibilities cover.
You will be required to:
*Manage the identification, proposal to sign on, and if sign on agreed, the formal introduction of the product / service - ensure business delivery capability through use of the portfolio management process.
*Where appropriate manage the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) relationship in terms of accreditation requirements and such commercial and quality schemes that the OEM may have in place. Report the Company's performance against these criteria as appropriate.
*Report on the success of their portfolio responsibilities including reasons for success or failure.
In seeking to fill the current Portfolio Manager vacancy the business is looking for someone to concentrate on Carrier and Network services, specifically but not exclusively including responsibility for the identification, selection, introduction and management of the following:
*Fixed and mobile carrier selection & management for national, metropolitan and private networks
*Tariff analysis and presentation tools
*Mobile device and services suppliers
*Network based business continuity services
*Hosted services providers
The ideal candidate
Will be educated to degree standard with solid experience in product management within an ICT services company. The candidate should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of managing the product lifecycle and demonstrate an in depth knowledge of the products within that segment. The candidate should also possess experience of product (including services) marketing and service development.
The salary is £45000 -£60000 plus benefits and a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious market leading company.
