Pricing Specialist - perm
Our client is a large producer of bulk products exported to hundreds of clients around the globe.
Overview of Position:
Responsible for maintaining customer specific pricing within an external pricing system. The post holder will manage customer specific prices, up charges, and discounts within the order management system.
The role:
You will liaise between customers and sales to establish customer pricing for entry into an external pricing system and order management system including the creation and analysis of sales reports, order history, or other pertinent data.
Achieving appropriate pricing information and authorisation when sales orders are blocked due to missing price records to ensure no order is delayed due to problems with internal communication or paperwork
Have an understanding of when to action and when to escalate pricing problems to senior management and work closely with the invoicing team to ensure that delays are kept to a minimum, pricing is accurate and raise credits where due.
You should have previous experience in Customer Service, Accounting or the Supply Chain and be a good self-organiser with an eye for detail.
Your IT skills should include Excel, Power-point, and Word and ideally ERP/SAP or similar
Strong communication skills, multitasking and problem solving skills essential.
