Their team of economists, policy analysts, regulatory experts and market specialists bring many years of industry experience to bear on clients' problems.
Their core strength is the ability to combine expert knowledge of the markets with first class quantitative analysis to offer the highest quality commercial, economic, strategic, and policy advice in the rapidly changing energy sector.
They are currently looking for Principal and Senior Consultants to help lead their work in the renewable energy sector. This work will include:
·Advice on entry to, and expansion within, European renewables markets, including market entry strategies for energy companies and M&A within the sector.
·Advice on the development and implementation of renewable policy support mechanisms and their impact on industry.
·Advising renewable generators, traders and suppliers on the optimal trading, offtake, licensing and connection arrangements to suit their cost structure and appetite for risk.
·Advising on regulatory and policy developments, relationships with suppliers, distribution and transmission companies, offtake contracting and trading strategies.
·The provision of price projections for energy, renewable and embedded benefits and providing detailed market reports describing the wholesale and renewable markets and support mechanisms in the UK and Europe.
·The provision of commercial due diligence on renewable and conventional generation for project developers, utilities and financiers.
The Principal/Senior Consultants will be responsible for managing and leading these projects and also for Business Development.
The ideal candidates will have a background in the Energy Sector with a focus on renewable energy and experience in the areas outlined above. They will have a good first degree in economics or a scientific discipline and ideally a postgraduate qualification.
