Job Description :  Principal EIA Consultant - Glasgow - urgent

This expanding consultancy are currently looking for an experienced EIA consultant to join their Environmental team based in Glasgow to provide expert EIA consultancy and project management services to a variety of clients in the Renewable energy and Power sectors.

*Qualification- Ideal candidates for this role will hold full membership / Chartered status of a relevant professional body, a relevant (environmental) degree/ MSc, further qualifications are advantageous. A full clean driving licence is a requirement of the role.

*Location- Glasgow, Scotland. Commutable from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Kilmarnock, Motherwell, Falkirk.


*Experience- Candidates for this role will hold previous experience of working on and managing large scale EIA projects for developments in the renewable and power industries. Staff management skills and a proven track record in business development in this field are highly desirable.

*Salary- Commensurate with skills and experience

Duties Include:
- Managing large scale EUIA projects
- Report writing and review
- Staff management and mentoring
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders
- Collaborating within multidisciplinary teams

Typical Projects

Working on large scale developments in the renewable energy and power sectors, current projects include Wind farm (on shore), Waste to energy plants, Hydro schemes (small and large scale) and Pipeline projects.
