*Qualification- Suitable candidates for this role will hold an appropriate academic background with a BSc / MSc in a relevant discipline, in Ecology or similar. Candidates are also anticipated to hold full membership of IEEM/ CEnv status, and protected species licences. A full clean driving licence is a required due to the travel involved in the role.
*Location- Edinburgh
*Experience- Candidates for this role will hold demonstrable experience in a variety of ecological consultancy projects. Candidates will hold skills in Project management, Staff management and Large scale EIA projects, preparing technical chapters for assessments.
*Salary- £30,000 plus, excellent benefits scheme

Duties Include: - Managing projects - Staff management and mentoring - Liaise with clients - Bid/ tender preparation - Undertake and plan ecological surveys - protected species, habitat and vegetation surveys - Undertake impact assessments
Typical Projects Working on large scale projects in the highways, infrastructure and renewable energy fields. You will act as a team leader to the ecology based in the Edinburgh office, undertaking project management and staff management duties and seeking to further develop the business stream across Scotland.
You can expect to work on a variety of ecological projects including protected species surveying and mitigation, impact assessments, ornithological studies and habitat assessments.
