My client is a leading Design, Engineering, Project and Construction Management Consulting Firm, with a heritage of world-class consulting services within international remit.
Due to a number of expanding projects in the middle east, my client is urgently in need for a Principal Power electrical Design Engineer.
You will have demonstrable experience in Electrical Power Design Engineering, ideally with an International Consultancy.

As the main technical expert for electrical power design you will be responsible for the technical input to designs for Power and Communication projects ensuring the technical quality of projects. You will be managing multi disciplined teams ensuring that projects are completed on time and to budget for the client.
To be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate the following experience:
Significant experience in a broad range of HV power projects including design and contract supervision of distribution, protection and preferably generation projects. Operational experience would be well regarded.
Experience in the design of power transmission and distribution systems, substations (11kV), primary and secondary equipment.
Experience in the design of electrical systems for industrial and municipal infrastructure projects such as pumping stations, water treatment plants, etc. This should include Instrumentation and Control systems and the design and programming of SCADA systems.
Must have CYME experience and ETAP Software.
An understanding of mechanical design would also be an added advantage as well as experience in managing multi discipline design teams.
You will hold a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering and any appropriate Institutional affiliations. Relevant Masters Degree preferred.
