Principal Planner
Our client are looking for experienced Principal Planners to join them in either their Glasgow office or Bristol office to undertake the following in relation to Waste/Energy/Minerals:
· Prepare Planning Applications
· Provide Planning and Policy Advice
· Co-ordinate associated Environmental Impact Assessments
· Undertake Site Searches/Appraisals
- Masterplanning experience
The successful candidate will undertake daily management of resources and work scheduling in team and work with Directors and other teams to ensure optimum use of resources across business. You will undertake technical review in accordance with QA/QC system and manage projects and will mentor and develop Seniors and Consultants within the team to support in day to day running of team.
For this role sound masterplanning experience is required as is sound experience of preparing planning applications for major waste, energy or minerals development and associated EIA's. RTPI membership is essential as is experience of Enquiries or Appeals.
They are looking for someone with a consultancy background for this role.
