Job Title - Design Consultant for Rail Customer Information Systems (CIS)
This is a very exciting opportunity for an individual to join the one of the worlds leading rail consultancies and become a key member of their Cross Rail team. Your job title will be Design Consultant for Rail Customer Information Systems (CIS).
You will have demonstrable experience in the following:
Strategy Development, Feasibility Studies, Concept Design, Detailed Design, Risk Analysis, Tender Analysis, Construction Submission Validation, Installation, Witness Testing, Documentation, Operations & Maintenance Manuals and Handover in the following:
Essential Qualification:
HND/ HNC (minimum).
BSc
CEng.
Requirements:
-CIS (Customer Information Systems)
-CCTV & Digital Recording
-Public Address System
-VEID (Visually Enhanced Information Displays)
-PHP (Public Help Point)
-Networking Cable/Fibre
-Direct Telephones

Background Information:
-Project work all in UK. Knowledge of Network Rail and London Underground specifications, standards and working practices is required
-Knowledge of Platforms, Concourse, Ticket Office and Equipment rooms
Desirable Qualifications:
-Communications / Electrical Engineering.
-IRSE Telecommunications Design Licence London Underground Access Permit.
-Underground Passport to Safety.
Personal Characteristics:
Flexible, able to work in client's offices unsupervised, proactive, team worker.
