The Principal/ Associate Transport Planner will act as a senior client facing entity in the business, delivering projects and maintaining local government and public transport private sector contacts in order to maximise work-winning opportunities. You will help to position the business as a mainstream player in the regional market through developing a co-ordinated strategy to continue to raise the profile through the delivery of flagship projects and occasional conference speaking.
To be successful, you have demonstrable success of delivering major integrated transport projects for both public and private sector clients and have excellent knowledge of the transport planning discipline from master planning, public transport operation, integrated demand management, sustainable transport strategies to support development/regeneration etc.
It is also important you have knowledge and experience of preparing major funding applications to support both public and private sector investment along with possessing detailed knowledge of transport policy/strategy and operations gained through design or commissioning experience in Local Government or consultancy roles.
If you have the above and also a proven ability to facilitate multi-disciplinary teams and deliver complex, politically sensitive projects to meet stakeholder, client or customer aspirations and a proven track record in the development of successful major discipline specific and multi-disciplinary bids we would like to talk to you.
