My client based in the South East are looking with immediate effect for a Process Engineer. Based within the medical devices sector, this offers an exciting opportunity to join a research and development company who are at the leading edge of point of care technology.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of pilot line manufacturing capability. This will include:
Pilot Manufacture of disposable test strips
Optimising and validating manufacturing processes
Working closely with colleagues involved with the reagent development to ensure the design functions as a sensor.
Creating manufacturing specifications and procedures.
Proof of manufacturing feasibility.
Developing a pilot manufacturing process in conjunction with equipment vendors
The ideal candidate will have exposure to:
Knowledge of pilot manufacturing processes
Experience in process optimisation and validation of automated systems
Experience of multi part assembly or reagent dispensing processes
Reasonable knowledge of IVD device manufacture or principals
Experience in prototype fabrication where repetitive manufacture of consistent products in required.
Medical devices industry (or Biomedical) and relating quality standards. ISO 13485, FDA compliance.
