Job Description :  Procurement Manager, Commissioning Manager - Yorkshire - NHS. I have a contract requirement for a MCIPS qualified Procurement Manager to work with my public sector client.

To be relevant you should have experience in roles such as Procurement Manager, Commercial Manager, Contract Manager, Commissioning Manager, or Supplier Relationship Manager. This role will involve working with social care providers so any experience in this area would be beneficial as would experience working within the NHS.

This is a role that the Procurement Manager will need to take a strategic approach to, evaluating the procurement systems in place, redesigning these services, and maintaining value for money while improving on quality of care. Experience as a Commissioning Manager or Contract Manager in the NHS would be ideal.

Due to the nature of the services being commissioned, ideally you will need experience in procurement of services rather than simply commodities or products, and you should be able to demonstrate a track record of working in partnership with suppliers in complex environments. The Procurement Manager / Commissioning Manager will also need to be MCIPS qualified.
