Procurement Specialist - Indirect Categories



A procurement specialist, with responsibility for a number of indirect categories is required for a global blue chip company. Reporting to the corporate procurement manager you will be given the autonomy to strategically drive these categories forward.



In this Procurement role you will:



Develop sourcing strategies across indirect areas

Manage suppliers and drive cost savings

Promote Procurement best processes within the company

Work with stakeholders and raise the procurement profile within the business



The successful Procurement applicant will need:



Previous experience within indirect procurement

Experience in managing commercial contracts

Manage the tender process and lead negotiations with suppliers

In depth knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology

Be degree educated and ideally hold professional membership i.e. MCIPS



This role will allow the successful Procurement Professional to really develop the categories at their disposal within an established company who have a global brand. Procurement is at the forefront of the business, which is emphasised by their commitment to personal development and organic growth.



For the right candidate they are offering a salary of ?40k pa accompanied by excellent benefits.
