Indirect procurement specialist- Berkshire - £35-40k plus package
A leading blue chip company is looking for indirect procurement buyer to be part of their corporate procurement team based in Berkshire
This procurement position will involve:
Preparing tenders, negotiating contracts and administering contract renewals and new contracts
Providing ongoing contract and supply management support to maximise the value of the relationship
Managing and engaging internal clients, functional leader and service owners to understand changing business requirements
The following procurement skills are required:
Experience as a buyer with wide indirect commodity including professional services and industry experience gained in a professional purchasing environment.
Strong understanding of procurement best practise
Strong level of influencing, planning and organisational skills is essential
Good relationship building skills internally and with external suppliers
A strong academic background
CIPS qualification is beneficial
